Boo to you, Linda!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney today - I'm happy to help.
I'm devilishly delighted that you're making plans to attend Walt Disney World Resort's all-new Halloween event,
Disney After Hours Boo Bash. With
Halloween-themed cavalcades, Character appearances, complimentary snacks, and specialty food and beverages, there will be tricks and treats around every spooky corner of
Magic Kingdom Park! I know summer's just begun, but I'm already dreaming of candied apples and hot cider - Halloween is my favorite, and Disney does it best.
Tickets for this SPOOKtacular gathering will go on sale to the public on June 15, but Guests of select Walt Disney World Resort hotels have early access to tickets beginning June 8. I am one of those Guests, and one of my friends in our travel party was able to secure tickets for our group yesterday - we're super excited to check it out! I can tell you from our personal experience that the phone lines were completely tied up for quite some time yesterday with Guests trying to call. If you get a busy signal, keep trying - we did, and my friend Sue was finally able to speak with a Cast Member yesterday afternoon. Be prepared for a long wait on hold once you connect, but don't give up hope. (And enjoy the fun Disney hold music while you wait!) While that was our personal experience, I've heard from others that got through much quicker. (For the early access sale, tickets can only be purchased over the phone, but will be available to the general public with an online purchase option on June 15.)
As a Guest of a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you should have received an early access email with information about calling to purchase tickets. If you didn't receive an email, no worries - simply call (407) 939-4240, and have your Resort Hotel reservation confirmation number handy. Hopefully the call volume has decreased a bit and you'll be able to get through to a Cast Member. Once you've completed your ticket purchase, the Cast Member will give you a confirmation number for your order. Make sure to write it down so you can link it to your
My Disney Experience account. Don't worry if it doesn't show up immediately. Ours didn't, but after a quick call to the My Disney Experience Tech Help Line at (407) 939-7765, we were assured that our tickets were linked but might not show up on our end right away. We were told they might not appear in our accounts until the general sale, but then - like magic - poof! - they appeared in the Tickets and Passes section of our My Disney Experience accounts this morning.
I'm sending all the pixie dust your way that you'll be able to secure tickets to the Disney After Hours Boo Bash during your stay at
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. It's going to be tons of spine-chilling fun!
