Hi there, Alex!
I appreciate the flexibility we have when using
Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. In most cases when purchasing a
Disney eTicket, you book a
theme park reservation at the same time. That park reservation can be canceled up until 11:59 PM the day before the reservation. The ticket itself will remain linked to your Disneyland Resort account. A linked ticket without a park reservation tied to it can have a new park reservation booked for any date the ticket remains valid and for which
park reservations remain available.
Note, if you are unable to visit the Disneyland Resort on the day you have a park reservation and don’t have an opportunity to cancel the reservation by 11:59 PM the day before, you will need to wait until that existing park reservation expires before you can make a new reservation. In that case, you may book a new reservation after midnight of the day of the reservation.
Tony’s Tip: Be sure to check the “use by” date of your tickets. This can usually be found in the ticket purchase confirmation email. For example, one-day tickets purchased now expire after December 30, 2024, and multi-day tickets expire 13 days after the first day of use or January 12, 2025, whichever comes first. Park reservations may be booked as long as the tickets remain valid. I hope it never comes to this, but if you are unable to use a standard ticket while it is still valid, that
wholly-unused, expired ticket may be upgraded to a new, valid ticket of equal or greater value by visiting a main entrance ticket booth and paying the difference in price at that time.
I hope you have a magical time visiting the Disneyland Resort, Alex. And I hope you get that opportunity sooner than later! Right now is an especially magical season with the
Holidays at the Disneyland Resort. If you get a chance, I recommend enjoying a “
Cup of Cheer” from
Galactic Grill. Yum!
