Hi, Sheree! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney!
All guests age 3 years old and older require a theme park ticket at the Disneyland Resort. So, yes, be sure to
purchase a ticket for your little one when planning your vacation. You'll also need to make
theme park reservations for your party for each day that you would like to visit the parks. When you purchase your tickets on the Disneyland Resort website, you will select the dates that you would like to visit and which park you want to visit on each date. This is your theme park reservation.
Did you know that there are oodles of attractions at both parks perfect for preschoolers?
Many attractions do not have any height restrictions so that means even the littlest riders can enjoy them. These include "it's a small world," Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Peter Pan's Flight, Toy Story Midway Mania, and many more. For any of the larger, thrill attractions where your child doesn't meet the height requirement, don't forget to take advantage of the
Rider Switch service. This allows one group to ride the attraction while someone waits with the child outside the attraction. Then after the first group has finished riding, the person (or up to three people) that was waiting with the child can ride the attraction with minimal wait.
I hope this helps! Have a great time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
