How do I purchase a ticket for a two year old? Does she need a magic band?

    Hi Brandy!

Thanks for stopping by to see us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. A vacation to Walt Disney World Resort is magical for everyone in the family, but especially little ones. For them, the magic is real and it's so amazing to experience that Disney magic through their sweet eyes! Be sure to consider adding Memory Maker to your trip so you can capture and save all of the magical memories you make together during your vacation.

Guests who are 2 years old and under are considered special Guests of Mickey, so they receive complimentary admission to the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. This means that you don't need to purchase a theme park ticket for your 2 year old princess! Simply bring her with you to the admissions gates, let the Cast Members know that she is 2 years old and she will be able to enter the theme parks with the rest of your family.

MagicBands for your little one are completely optional since she won't have an admission ticket. If you will be staying at a Disney Resort hotel, then she will receive a complimentary MagicBand with the rest of your family, but she can choose to wear it or choose to skip it. With my little ones, I have found that they like to wear their MagicBands so they can be just like the big kids!

Let us know if you have additional questions as you continue planning your trip. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
