Hey there, Brianna! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question.
Brianna, you will need both a valid
theme park ticket AND
park reservation to visit the parks. While it doesn’t have to be purchased online, reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance, and reservations may become unavailable especially during busier seasons like summer. Hence, it’s recommended to look for tickets and reservations in advance if possible.
You can go to the
Disneyland Resort website, and click on Parks & Tickets, then select
Theme Park Tickets. This will prompt you to select the number of days, number of Guests, type of ticket, and then guide you to the
theme park reservation availability calendar to see if your desired date is available.
You would be able to purchase tickets and make reservations once you arrive, but subject to availability. Whether you are looking online, or a Cast Member is looking at the main entrance, everyone is accessing the same, central reservation system. I will say that sometimes reservations can become available at the last minute, as other Guests may cancel reservations, which releases them back into the system. Don’t give up hope – you might get lucky!
Sending you a pinch of pixie dust in hopes you can secure a reservation!
