Hi Luz,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for taking the time to send us your question. I am glad to see you are planning a visit to the "Happiest Place on Earth" and while the procedures may be a little different, our main Mouse Mickey is ready to welcome us back very soon.
With the
reopening of Disneyland Resort on April 30, 2021 we have learned that there will be a new Theme Park Reservation system that will be implemented prior to reopening. Guests will now be required to have both valid Theme Park Admission as well as a Theme Park Reservation for every day they would like to enter a theme park. While we don't have official news about what the reservation system at Disneyland Resort will look like, I would imagine that it will be similar to the
Disney Park Pass system at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. I have used the system twice so far, and it was simple. Once I had purchased my Theme Park Tickets, I was able to make reservations at my convenience. Personally, I made my reservations as soon as I purchased my tickets, in order to make sure I was able to secure my reservations. I can't be sure that the system will be the same, but I do know that once more details are released, we would be happy to help so please come back to
planDisney with any new questions you may have.
I wish I had more information to share Luz. I recommend visiting the
Disney Parks Blog as well as the official
Disneyland Resort website for any updates regarding Ticket Sales and the new reservation system. Sending you some extra Pixie Dust in hope that more details will be released soon and that you will be able to book your visit to Disneyland Resort.
