Hi Claire,
Did you know that as of today, there are only 155 days until Christmas? It sounds like you look forward to the holidays just as much as I do, and there is certainly nothing better than celebrating the season at Disney!
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is definitely one of my favorite holiday events at Walt Disney World. Standing on Main Street, U.S.A. with a cup of steaming hot cocoa, watching the "snow" fall as
Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade glides by is one of my favorite holiday activities to enjoy at Walt Disney World Resort. This festive Parade featuring your favorite Disney characters, and even a cameo from Santa himself, is guaranteed to delight and get you humming along with those classic holiday tunes. It's a sure fire way to put everyone in the Christmas spirit!
Claire, I am happy to confirm that if you purchase a ticket to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will not need a regular Park Ticket in order to be admitted to the Park that evening for the Party. Just your Party ticket will suffice. While the Party officially gets underway at 7 p.m., in past years guests have been allowed to enter Magic Kingdom for the Party a few hours before the Party to grab a bite to eat and experience some attractions before the Party starts. I expect this year will be much the same.
Don't forget to pick up a Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party guide upon arrival at Magic Kingdom, which will highlight the various holiday entertainment and fireworks schedules during the Party. It will also pinpoint all of the holiday treat stations where Cast Members will be handing out complimentary cookies and hot chocolate!
Happy Holidays!
Trish
