Hey Howdy Hey, Tanner!
The planDisney roundup is pleased to meet you and I’ll be more than happy to answer your question.
I would like to first begin with a “Thank You” for your service. We truly appreciate you and as a military spouse myself, I understand the importance of bringing the family together for a much-needed vacation. When it comes to purchasing
Military SaluteTickets you have a few options. The first option is what my family usually does and that is visiting your local military ticketing office. You can also purchase your military promotional tickets through
Shades of Green if you would like as well. Since your trip is quickly approaching, I recommend the first option so that you have your tickets in hand after purchasing. All that you’ll need is your military ID to prove your eligibility and you’ll be good to complete your purchase. Keep in mind, you'll also need to show your military ID on the day of your first visit to activate these tickets. After that, you're ready to enjoy the magic! Tanner, don’t forget to link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account so that you can schedule your
theme park reservations after purchasing your tickets. Again, since your trip is so close, you'll want to do this as soon as possible. I'm currently vacation at Walt Disney World using Military Salute tickets, so
Hakuna Matata, a quick turn around is possible. I did purchase my tickets on post before arriving though so I was able to schedule my reservations before I arrived.
I also recommend checking out the
military resort offer. It’s another great offer available to eligible service members or their spouses. And the perfect way to complete your vacation package. Plus, staying at a Disney Resort comes with so many
benefits like Early Entry. My family enjoys staying in the magic while we are visiting. It’s the perfect getaway from our everyday life.
Tanner, I hope this helps complete your purchase. If there’s anything else we can help with, please feel free to ask away. We here at planDisney are more than happy to help answer any other vacation planning questions you may have.
You’ve always got a friend in me,
Shantel
