Hey there, Emma! Welcome back to planDisney. It is nice to see you planning a from across the pond for another enchanted adventure to see Mickey Mouse at the "Place Where Dreams Come True."
One of the best gifts anyone can receive is Disney Theme Park Tickets, especially from Walt Disney World Resort. With four amazing theme parks and two Disney Water Parks, there is so much to do and see hither, thither, and yon. Yes, your friends visiting in October may purchase and gift you a ticket and then reassign the ticket to you as long as it has not been used. To reassign a ticket you will need to be linked under Family & Friends in both your My Disney Experience accounts which you can do online or through the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Please note that the cost for a Theme Park ticket as of today (subject to change) is:
- Magic Kingdom Park - USD 189.00
- EPCOT - USD 179.00
- Disney's Hollywood Studios - USD 184.00
- Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park - USD 164.00
Please make sure your friend purchases the ticket for the theme park you want. Should you decide to switch theme parks and the ticket to the new theme park is more expensive, you will need to pay the difference. Refunds are not given if the theme park ticket is less expensive.
If you have not been at EPCOT during New Year's Eve then I recommend you make it a priority. Cheers to the New Year: A Sparkling Celebration New Year's Eve Fireworks begin in Japan as they are the first World Showcase country to celebrate the new year, followed by China, Italy, Norway, France, Germany, Morocco, United Kingdom, and finally Canada, Mexico, and the United States.
Emma, I am so excited for you to spend New Year's at Walt Disney World Resort. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for other Disney vacation planning tips.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
