Welcome to planDisney, Paola!
Imagine turning up for a magical day at the Disneyland Resort and finding out that you couldn't purchase a ticket! How heartbreaking! So I'm glad you came to us with your question.
Paola, you are able to purchase a theme park ticket at the gate on the day of your visit.
However, due to the current capacity limits in the parks, I believe your best option is to
purchase your ticket online and make a
theme park reservation ahead of time. If you look at the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar, you'll notice that certain days (like October 30) are completely booked up. Other days (like October 31) only have availability for one theme park. As I type these words, both parks have availability on October 27. However, this could change by the time you arrive. So you're taking a chance if you show up on the day without a ticket. I hope that makes sense.
To avoid disappointment, I usually encourage people to plan their Disney trips as far in advance as possible. This also gives folks a better chance of making
dining reservations are the restaurants they set their hearts on. Guests can make dining reservations up to 60 days in advance of their trip. Therefore, if you ever want to dine at one of the more popular table service restaurants, you're best trying to book a table as soon as reservations open.
I hope that's helpful, Paola. I'm really happy you chose to be our Guest. Stop by anytime!
ChEARS,
Mike
