Hi Janissa! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.
Yes, I've good news for you. While it is currently necessary to have a
theme park reservation along with a valid
admission ticket to enter the parks and you select your theme park reservation at the time of purchase, you're not locked into that date. Life sometimes gets in the way, and if you need to change your plans and visit on a different day, you can always modify your theme park reservation, so long as theme park reservations are available for your preferred date. Parks and dates can fill up, especially at popular times of the year, so it's best to modify as far out as possible.
I can walk you through how to modify a park reservation. Once you have
linked your tickets to your Disneyland account, it's an easy process. Find and hover over "My Disneyland" on the Disneyland Resort website. Select "Ticket and Reservation Details." Scroll down the page to find "Make or Modify Park Reservations" to begin the modification process. You'll be asked to select a date and a park. If you have a
Park Hopper, you'll be selecting which park you begin your day in. That's it!
There will be lots to discover in the new year. Follow the
Disney Parks Blog for all the official news on the parks. There have already been some exciting announcements like the return of the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival, which is great news for foodies like my family, who love to dine in the parks. Hopefully, you can find the perfect date for your magical visit!
I hope this helps.
