Hi Candace, welcome to planDisney!
From one Elastigirl to another, I understand the importance of being flexible when it comes to planning your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The good news is that the
50th Anniversary Celebration continues through next March, giving you plenty of wiggle room when it comes to scheduling (and potentially rescheduling) your park days.
Valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, admission card, or Disney MagicMobile pass) are currently required for theme park entry. Walt Disney World uses date-based pricing for theme park tickets, which means you must choose the dates you plan to visit at the time of purchase. Before purchasing, be sure to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar; after purchasing, make your theme park reservations using the
Disney Park Pass system as soon as possible.
If Mr. Incredible's work schedule changes and you need to change the dates of your park tickets, Candace, log into the
"My Plans" page of your My Disney Experience account, scroll down and click the "Tickets and Memory Maker" tab, and select "Change Ticket" next to the desired ticket(s).
**Before you change your ticket dates, you must confirm that your new dates are available on the theme park reservation availability calendar.** Once availability is confirmed, select "Valid Ticket Dates" to change dates and select the first day of use for your ticket. You can modify your ticket up until midnight EST on the day before a ticket's first valid use date. If the new dates have a higher price than your original dates, the modification process allows you to pay the difference.
Unlike tickets, theme park reservations cannot be modified. If you need to change the dates of your theme park reservations, you'll need to cancel your existing reservations and rebook for your new dates. To do this, scroll down to view your theme park reservation under the "Daily Itinerary" tab of your "My Plans" page. Click "View Details" next to the reservation and "Cancel This Reservation." The next page allows you to cancel the reservation for some or all of your party. Once canceled, revisit the Disney Park Pass system as soon as possible to book your new theme park reservations.
I hope you and your husband have an
incredible time at Walt Disney World Resort, Candace. If Frozone won't be joining you this trip, you can keep cool with complimentary glasses of ice water available at all
quick-service dining locations.
It would be
super to see you at planDisney again!
