Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Stephanie!
You must be very excited about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Fall brings my favorite special event to Magic Kingdom Park on select nights:
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Are you preparing your costume for the most
spooktacular party of the season?
A ticket for a special event will only grant you admission during the time of the event. This means that if you want to visit Magic Kingdom Park on the same day you will need separate theme park admission. However, if you are traveling with kids I highly recommend resting during the day at your resort hotel. You may enjoy the pool and even spend some time at Disney Springs. The party lasts until midnight, so if your children are tired they may not make the most of it. Depending on their ages I would still plan to bring a stroller, this way if they get tired they will have a nice place to rest and adults will still be able to enjoy the party.
Moms Panel tip: got little princesses and knights in your travel party? Make an appointment at
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Disney Springs before heading for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! This way they can go through a magical transformation and trick or treat all dressed up as their favorite Disney Princess or as a shining knight!
I hope this helps you while planning, Stephanie! Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.
Best magical wishes,
Thiana
