    When you purchase a special event ticket (Keys to the Kingdom,Destinations Discovered, Backstage Magic) - are Park Tickets required? We have 6 days @ resort, and only 4 Park days - 2 days to rest. Would like to maybe do one of these on rest days. Thanks!

    Thank you for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Taking the tours at Walt Disney World is a great way to see more of the magic!  The Keys to the Kingdom tour at the Magic Kingdom and the Wild Africa Trek at Animal Kingdom are two of my favorites.

    For these tours, though, you will need valid theme park admission for that day.  If you look on the Walt Disney World Tours and Events page and click on the tour of your choosing, it will say directly under the title "valid park admission required" for those that it applies to.  

    I hope that you can work one into your vacation schedule.  I think you will love it!
