Howdy Rachel, and welcome to planDisney!
Congratulations for taking advantage of the newest benefits to
Southern California residents that the Disneyland Resort has to offer just in time for the
100 year Celebration at
The Happiest Place On Earth!
Rachel, now that
any SoCal resident can now enjoy the special savings on a weekday 3 day park ticket, I feel excited to let my friends and family here in the Southland know about this opportunity so that we can make magical memories together through the Valentine's season,
Lunar New Year, and
Black Heritage Month!
Once you finalize your theme park ticket purchases, you will still need to
make reservations for any park visit that you are planning. If you have already made reservations, but your plans have changed, you can cancel your reservations up until the clock strikes midnight the evening before your reserved visit. You can do this by going to
My Theme Park Reservations online and clicking on the "Cancel Reservation" link. And Rachel, I personally like to make sure that before I cancel, I check the
availability calendar to make sure that the date that I really want to visit is also available. I’m not Queen Elsa, because being left out in the cold without a reservation
would bother me!
Have you downloaded the
Disneyland Mobile app yet, Rachel? This is what you’ll need to scan your theme park tickets upon entry, plus it saves valuable time by posting the wait times for most rides. My favorite part of this app is that I can place
mobile orders for meals, snacks, and beverages so that I can pick them up after I’ve been enjoying attractions all the live-long day!
I really hope that I answered your question about changing your reservations in favor of a future date, Rachel. I’m as committed as you are to making your vacation to the Disneyland Resort as magical as it can be, so please
feel free to come back and ask me any other questions if you need follow-up.
