If I purchase something at Disney Springs, World of Disney store, can I return it to the store in the Disney Resort we are staying in?

    Hiya Jenna!

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your merchandise return question! I can only imagine how excited you must be to visit The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a few short months. If you’re anything like me, you’ve probably already made a wish list (or two) of all the must-have Disney treasures.

One of my favorite spots to shop is Disney Springs—it’s like a dream come true for any Disney fan!  And when I’m on the hunt for something specific, I always make a beeline for World of Disney. Somehow, they always seem to have exactly what I’m looking for… and maybe a few things I didn’t know I needed.

Now, let’s talk returns! You’ll be happy to know that if you purchase something at a Disney-owned and operated store, you can return or exchange it at any other Disney-owned and operated store on property. It’s a little Disney magic that makes things just a bit easier!

Just a quick heads-up—this doesn’t apply to items from places like Operating Participant locations (those third-party shops), Disney Outlet stores, Disney Store retail locations, shopDisney.com, Aulani, Disney Cruise Line ships, or the Four Seasons Orlando.

And of course, like any fairy tale, there are a few rules:

    • Items need to be new, unused, and with original packaging and tags attached.
    • Returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of purchase.
    • Certain items like original artwork, jewelry priced at $150 or more, MagicBands, subscriptions, memberships, and personalized merchandise aren’t eligible for return.
And as with any Disney policy, it’s always a good idea to double-check before your trip since policies can change faster than Cinderella’s pumpkin carriage at midnight.

Jenna, I hope this helps—and if you have any more questions, feel free to visit us again

    See ya real soon!
