Hello, If I were to purchase SoCal resident tickets would it only be able to be used by SoCal residents. I’m a resident but I have some family who are not. I will be with them but will each person have to prove they’re a resident?

Greetings, Jazmin! From one Southern California resident to another, welcome to planDisney. There's no better place to come together than the Disneyland Resort.

The Southern California Resident Ticket offer is only for residents within ZIP codes 90000 to 93599. Each adult using this ticket must show a government-issued photo ID at the entrance gate, like a California Driver's License or California ID, to prove eligible residency.

While you (as a Southern California resident) could take advantage of this offer, your family members who do not live in Southern California would need to purchase standard theme park tickets. That said, check the Offers & Discounts page on the Disneyland website to see if any other deals may apply to your group.

Perhaps this news will sprinkle some pixie dust on your plans: Magic Key passes will go back on sale starting January 22, 2025! All four pass types will be available for purchase while supplies last. The Imagine Pass pays for itself in four visits, so if your family plans to come to the Disneyland Resort a few times this year, they might be interested in becoming passholders!

There are lots of exciting things coming to the Disneyland Resort this year. One of the most popular (and tastiest) events is the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. You'll find many delicious menu items, culinary demos, and more from February 28 to April 21, 2025. I know I'll be there scoping out all the plant-based foods! And, of course, the much anticipated Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will kick off May 16, 2025, with colorful decor, collectible merchandise, special entertainment, and more. I can't wait to see the Paint the Night Parade illuminate Main Street, U.S.A. with its vibrant floats and brilliant lights. Check out the Disney Parks Blog to learn about other events and festivals – there's always something magical on the horizon!

Jazmin, even if it's not with the SoCal Resident Ticket, I hope you and your family can make it over to the Disneyland Resort soon. If you have any questions, please reach out. We are happy to help!
