    I want to purchase So-Cal 3 day Disneyland tickets for my friend and I. I have a So-Cal ID but my friend doesn't. She lives and goes to college in SoCal but doesn't have utility bills in her name. Will her school ID be sufficient for entry?

    Hi Sarah! Thank you for visiting planDisney and bringing us your question. I'm excited to hear you are thinking about purchasing the Southern California ticket offer to visit the Disneyland Resort soon.

    In order to be eligible for the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer, you must be a resident in ZIP codes 90000 - 93599. I have confirmed that you need a government-issued ID that verifies this to present at the entry gate. The last time I checked, college students and military members are able to take advantage of this ticket offer by showing their student or Military ID along with orders, a SoCal lease agreement, and/or a recent utility bill in their name. Since your friend does not have a utility bill, I am not sure if she will be able to use this ticket. If you have already purchased these tickets, I would suggest she bring a piece of mail with her address on it, her student ID, and her driver's license. If you cannot prove your residency, you will have to upgrade this ticket to a standard ticket at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. It may also be worth contacting Ticket Services and speaking with a Cast Member to explain her personal situation. 

    I love that you do not have to use the days consecutively for the Southern California Ticket Offer, which is ideal for Southern California locals to be able to enjoy the parks a few times this spring. I sincerely hope that you and your friend are able to take advantage of this offer. I definitely suggest that you use one of those days to enjoy Disney California Adventure Park. From March 4 to April 26, 2022, you can celebrate all things California at Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. This is one of my favorite festivals in the parks that always has so much going on. I'm also excited to hear that they will be reimagining Soarin' Around the World back to Soarin' Over California during the festival.
