Welcome to planDisney, Suzy!
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. With the
50th Anniversary Celebration currently happening, now is the time to visit Walt Disney World Resort. Cinderella Castle is truly awe-inspiring in its EARidescent colors. I'm sure you're in for a zip-a-dee-doo-dah kind of day.
I'm headed to Walt Disney World next week and I'm really excited about experiencing the
EPCOT International Flower Garden Festival. I'm a bit fan of those outdoor kitchens! I can't wait to see some of those topiary displays of beloved Disney characters too.
Suzy, as a UK-based Guest, you are not able to purchase 1-Day tickets through the
official Walt Disney Travel Company website. You have the choice of purchasing either a
7-Day Magic Ticket or a 14-Day Magic Ticket. Both options give you unlimited access to all
four Theme Parks and the
two Water Parks, plus the
Park Hopper Option,
Memory Maker, and more! I'm originally from Liverpool and I've purchased the 14-Day Magic Ticket a few times. It's an incredible deal (and one I miss taking advantage of now I live in the U.S.A.).
If you can only visit for one day, then you'll need to purchase your ticket when you arrive in the States. You'll then be able to access
Disneyworld.Disney.go.com to purchase from any of the ticket options currently available there. Alternatively, you can even purchase your ticket once you arrive at Walt Disney World Resort. Tickets can be purchased from the ticket booths at the Theme Park entrances or even the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. You should be aware, however, that there are currently capacity limits at the Theme Parks. Therefore, you'll want to keep an eye on the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar as your trip gets closer.
As Sally from Cars would say, "I hope you find what you're looking for." Have a magical trip, Suzy.
Mike
