Hey there, Marcia! Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your ticket questions. You've brought us some great questions and I'd be happy to help get you some answers.
I'm happy to share that you do have flexibility with tickets. If for any reason you purchase a ticket, reserve a day, and cannot attend, you will be able to cancel your reservation. Once you have a new day you want to visit you will just need to make a new
theme park ticket reservation. You will just need to be mindful of two things:
1. Single-day tickets are tier-based. This means if you purchase a ticket for your upcoming visit on a Tier 3 day, you will only be able to go on Tier 1, 2, or 3-days when you make new reservations. If you want to visit on a higher-tier day you would need to upgrade your ticket.
2. While you can cancel and rebook reservations as many times as you need, tickets do expire. If you make a ticket purchase this year it will be valid until December 30, 2023.
If your ticket does expire before you can use it, you should be able to use it towards the purchase price of a new ticket according to the
eTicket Terms and Conditions.
Marcia, I hope this information helps put your mind at ease that you do have some flexibility and options if plans change after you purchased your ticket. We hope to see you real soon!
Carrie
