Can I purchase a single day use Disneyland ticket

    Hiya, Monique!

Thanks for stopping by planDisney. I’m happy to offer some tips and guidance for purchasing a 1-day theme park ticket to visit a Disneyland Resort theme park.

Theme park tickets may be purchased online or in the Disneyland mobile app. To purchase online, visit the theme park tickets link from the Disneyland Resort website. To purchase in the mobile app, tap on the ‘+’ button at the bottom of the screen and select “Buy Tickets and Passes.” From that point, the process is similar for either online or mobile app purchases. Here are the steps:

    1. Select the ticket type. Currently, California residents are eligible for a promotional offer for a three-day California resident ticket. To purchase a 1-day ticket only, select a standard ticket type.
    2. For standard tickets, choose the number of days you wish to visit.
    3. Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase.
    4. Decide if you wish to visit only one park per day or if you wish to be able to experience both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day with a Park Hopper ticket. With the two parks only about 100 yards apart from each other, park hopping is a breeze!
    5. The next step is to book your theme park reservations. For each day of your tickets, choose the park where you wish to begin your day. If you chose Park Hopper tickets earlier, you will start your day in the reserved park. Then after 1:00 PM, you may hop over to the other theme park, subject to capacity availability.
    6. The final ticket purchase step is to decide if you wish to add the Disney Genie+ service and pre-purchase a parking voucher. If you’re not sure about either of these choices, don’t worry, they can always be purchased after you arrive at the Disneyland Resort as well.

During checkout, fill in the names of the ticket holders, contact information, and then submit payment information.

Tony’s Tip: Lately, I’ve noticed quite a few of my fellow Guests have been experiencing issues with the payment step when using a credit card to purchase theme park tickets. This could be caused by a number of different things. If this should be happening to you, one thing I suggest trying is updating your Disney profile. Be sure that the billing address In both the account settings and the payment methods matches the address used by your credit card company. Another approach that I like to use is making theme park ticket purchases using a Disney Gift Card.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Monique. And I hope you are able to cross off all the experiences on your must-do list.

    See ya real soon!

    ~Tony
