I would like to purchase Seasonal Passes as Christmas gifts. We have our next Disney Vacation planned but it isn't until February, 2013. Is there a way to purchase the passes now without them being active until we go to the parks (to expire 2/2014)?

    Hi there Lori,

I am a proud Disney Annual Passholder myself and my family's passes continue to pay for themselves over and over with each and every trip!  They have proven a great investment!

If you purchase your Annual Passes online, you will receive a voucher by mail that will need to be activated upon arrival to the Disney World Resort prior to being able to use them for park admission!  Your expiration date will be 365 days from the date of expiration, which in your case will be 2/2014!

If you purchase the passes at Walt Disney World, they will automatically activated at the time of purchase and will have an expiration date that is one year from the date of purchase, so be sure to purchase them in advance to receive a voucher!

Another idea would be to purchase Disney Gift Cards in amounts that would cover the cost of the Annual Passes!

    Best Wishes,
