    If I want to purchase the Quick-service dining plan, would I still be able to add on a character dining experience? I wasn't sure if I would need to purchase the Disney Dining Plan.

    What a good question!

    Disney Dining Plans offer guests a great way to budget their expenses while touring Walt Disney World. My family loves looking at our dining options based on where we will be at mealtime, and what looks delicious on the menu, rather than considering the price of each item. If it's included in our Dining Plan, we order it!

    Quick-Service Dining will enable you to enjoy entrees, desserts and non-alcoholic beverages from participating QS locations throughout the four main parks, two water parks, Disney Springs and all resort hotels. Plus, you'll be able to pick favorite snack items from kiosks and shops throughout Walt Disney World. Add to that the value of a resort-refillable drink mug per person, and you'll see why Disney's Quick-Service Dining Plan is so popular.

    Guests are welcome to purchase additional items that are not included in a Dining Plan, too. We often pay out of pocket for an appetizer or a Character Dining experience, then use our Dining Plan entitlements elsewhere.

    Go ahead and purchase your Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, then make your additional reservation for the character dining experience of your choice. Some of our favorites include The Crystal Palace, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall and Chef Mickey's.
