Hiya Tara,
Thanks so much for stopping by planDisney with your Premier Lightning Lane question! Oh boy, can you believe you're just a week away from trading in those Garden State Parkway horns for the sweet sounds of the Dapper Dans harmonizing down Main Street, with a Mickey Bar in hand? Now that’s what I call a real pixie-dusted upgrade!
Lightning Lane is truly one of my favorite ways to maximize time in the parks. And the
Premier Pass? It’s like having your own personal Fairy Godmother—no arrival windows, no clock-watching, hop on and enjoy the magic at your own pace.
So, let’s zip-a-dee-doo-dah right into your question! You’ll be happy to know that, yes, you can absolutely purchase a Premier Lightning Lane pass for each day of your visit. Just keep in mind that each
Premier pass is valid for one park per day, with one-time access to all available Lightning Lane attractions in that park. So, if you’re planning to park hop—say, start the day flying through Space Mountain at
Magic Kingdom and then race over to Slinky Dog Dash at
Hollywood Studios—you’d need to purchase
Lightning Lane options separately for each park.
Many Guests who plan to hop start with a Premier pass for their first park, then buy a single Lightning Lane or even a
Multi Pass for the second. Just remember, you can’t hold Premier Lightning Lane passes for multiple parks in the same day.
Now here’s where a little extra pixie dust comes in: if you’re staying at a Disney Resort hotel or other select hotels, you can purchase your Lightning Lane passes up to 7 days in advance. All other Guests can purchase up to 3 days before their park visit. That little head start can really help you secure the best ride lineup, especially during those busy summer days!
And speaking of summer, here’s a tip from one Disney-loving Floridian to another soon-to-be guest: it’s hot out there right now! Be sure to bring a cooling towel, a fan, and a refillable water bottle to use at the
water bottle refill stations across the parks (you can find those on the
My Disney Experience app). And of course, never underestimate the power of a poncho—because you never know when Tía Pepa’s rainclouds might roll in for a quick Florida sprinkle.
Tara, I hope this helps you plan a magical and smooth-sailing visit to Disney World! If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to reach out again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
