Since guests cannot purchase parking in advance, you will present your payment method, photo ID, and theme park admission to the guard attendant at any entrance. You can choose standard or preferred parking, and friendly Cast Members will direct you to the appropriate lot.
If you're staying at a Disney Resort Hotel, standard parking at the theme parks is complimentary. You can upgrade to preferred parking at the gate to ensure a closer spot to the park entrance. Check out the

The best part is that once you pay for parking, your pass is valid for all four theme parks that day. That's a fabulous perk if you have the
Park Hopper Option on your ticket. You can race from Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park to Magic Kingdom Park on two wheels! I recommend leaving your receipt in the car so you won't lose it on your busy day at the park.
As a local, I visit Disney World weekly. You'd think I'd remember my parking area and row, but I guess I'm too excited and often forget! That's why I love the
Car Locator feature in my
mobile app. I typically get a pop-up message to save my location, or I can go into the app and select "Car Locator" under the Getting Around section on the Welcome screen.
Here's a bonus tip: If you do forget to log your location, just let any parking lot attendant know what time you arrived. They can magically determine approximately where you parked.
