    Can I purchase a pre arrival Magic Band+ without engraving? An answer to similar question said that leaving it blank is possible, but somehow the website always requires me to enter a name.

    Thank you for visiting us today with an excellent question. It is a pleasure to assist you as you plan a magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

    I cannot imagine visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth without my MagicBand. This pixie-dusted wristband can be used to enter the theme parks and water parks (with valid admission), link Disney PhotoPass content to My Disney Experience, and more. Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can also use their MagicBands to open the door of their Guest room and charge food and merchandise purchases to their room account during their stay. 

    Guests staying right in the middle of the magic at a Disney Resort hotel can purchase a MagicBand in advance at special pre-arrival prices. Please note that when you make a MagicBand selection online, you must customize it by entering a name or word with up to 9 characters. Unfortunately, you will not be able to complete your purchase without entering a name or word. You can enter a single character or even numbers if you do not wish to customize the MagicBand with a name. In addition, you can also buy a MagicBand after arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort, and then customization will not be required.
