If I purchase a platinum annual pass but don't activate it until my actual first visit, will I still be able to sign up for fast passes 60 days out since I will be staying at a Disney resort?

    Hi Brian,

You're going to LOVE being an Annual Passholder! Not only will you be able to visit "The Most Magical Place on Earth" whenever you want, which is AMAZING in and of itself, but you'll also be able to take advantage of lots of wonderful perks and discounts!

I'm happy to let you know that yes, you will be able to make your FastPass+ selections 60 days ahead of your Disney Resort hotel check-in even if you haven't yet activated your Annual Pass. You'll just need to make sure that your Annual Pass is linked to your My Disney Experience account, so if it doesn't link automagically when you purchase it, you may link it yourself. After it has been linked, the system will see that your pass is there, so you'll be able to go ahead and choose three attractions or experiences per day to skip the standby lines before you even arrive! Once you get there, you'll want to take your exchange certificate and a valid photo ID to a theme park window or Guest Relations at Disney Springs to activate your pass and begin your magical year of Disney adventures.

Thanks so much for visiting us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Brian, and please come see us again if we can help with anything else. I hope that you have an incredible year celebrating traditions and making new memories with your Annual Pass!
