Hi Elizabeth,
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I know how important it is to make the most of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on a budget of any size. While I am a big fan of Disney Memory Maker, I can relate to your dilemma.
My advice is usually to
purchase Memory Maker whenever the budget allows, but in your case it depends on how you plan to spend your 2 days in the parks.
One of the best values of Memory Maker is the fact that attraction photos and video (where available) are included along with classic photos in front of Cinderella Castle, Magic Shots and Disney Character meet-and-greets for one price no matter how many photos you accumulate.
I suggest looking at how you plan to spend your days and "do the math" so to speak. You can certainly
purchase PhotoPass photos and products individually, but you may find that Memory Maker is the better value even with just 2 days in the parks.
I have been very happy with my choice to use Memory Maker each time I've had the opportunity. If your budget allows, I think you'll have no problem making sure you get your money's worth!
Wishing you many magical memories on your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
