Can you purchase PhotoPass+ One Day at Disneyland ahead of time or do you have to wait until the day of?

Hey there, hi there, ho there! You′re as welcome as can be here at planDisney, Tara!

On most family vacations, I'm the one behind the camera, taking the photos. I love that Disneyland Resort has PhotoPass Service that allows us all to be pictures at the same time! One thing to remember is that you will receive unlimited PhotoPass downloads included with your purchase of Disney Genie+ service. If your primary reason for getting Genie+ is for the photos, I recommend buying it in advance for just one member of your traveling party. Currently, the price for PhotoPass+ One Day is the same as Genie+ (although prices are subject to change). As an added bonus, you'll have access to some fun augmented reality (AR) Disney PhotoPass Lenses!

If you choose not to add on Disney Genie+, you can still purchase Disney's PhotoPass before, during, or after your visit. If you purchase Disney's PhotoPass+ One Day before your visit, you will not see anything on your Disneyland account indicating you have it. Once you link photos from your visit, you'll see them displayed without the "Disney's PhotoPass" watermark. If you wait until you visit, you can get PhotoPass+ One Day through the Disneyland Mobile app on the Photos tile (after you've linked some photos).

You'll find Disneyland PhotoPass photographers throughout the parks at iconic photo spots. The Disneyland website lists some locations, but you can find an updated list through the Disneyland app. Simply click on the Magnifying Glass and type in Photo.

Hope your trip is picture-perfect, Tara!

Hi, I'm Eean from Pennsylvania! I may have an unusual name, but my passion for Disney is not unique. It's incredible how many people you can find who love talking about "The Most Magical Place On Earth!" I'm that mom who always has her ears perked at PTO meetings, in the grocery store aisle, or at my monthly Bunco club for an opportunity to give someone a planning tip to help make their vacation even more magical.
