Is there any way I can purchase the personalized box that the magicbands usually come in? Or do you have any other suggestions for a box that can hold 6 magicbands all in one place?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, April!

I am totally intrigued by your question, and wondering if you're planning a fun surprise presentation of MagicBands to announce an upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation? My husband and I love to come up with fun schemes to announce a visit to our family's happy place, and it's always so much fun to see their responses when they hear the magic words: "we're going to Disney World!"

First things first, April: if you're looking to present 6 MagicBands all in one box, the standard box in which MagicBands arrive from Disney will not be your best option. I think those max out at 5 bands per box; when we travel with extended family on one reservation, we have always received multiple boxes to accommodate all the MagicBands. April, the only way to get the original MagicBand shipping box is to book a stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, because MagicBands are one of the benefits of being an on-property Guest. As a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest, you'll customize your MagicBands and then have them shipped to you (if you have a U.S. address; otherwise you'll pick up your MagicBands at your resort when you arrive).

Having said all that, there are so many creative ways to present MagicBands. Last year, we surprised our kiddos with a trip to attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. We filled their pumpkin trick-or-treat pails with candy, glow bracelets, and clues about our resort (we were staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, so we bought palm tree necklaces and other tropical party favors from the dollar store). We then attached a MagicBand to each pail, had them knock on the front door and yell "Trick or Treat," and when we answered, we gave them their surprises. It was so much fun to see the look on their faces as they figured it out!

I recommend looking online for ideas for presenting MagicBands. I bet you'll find lots of creative ideas. If you want something more straightforward, I bet you could wrap a paper towel tube in Disney-themed wrapping paper and create notches or use washi tape to keep each MagicBand in place. You could attach the tube inside a Mickey or Princess gift box, and even write each Guest's name in sparkly pen underneath.

I hope I've understood your question, April, and that I've given you some fun ideas! If not, please come back and see us - it's always a pleasure to help a fellow Guest plan and count down to their magical vacation.

    Have a zip-a-dee-doo-dah day,
    Robyn
