how to purchase a parking ticket on the website or the app

Hey there, hi there, Isaac! We are so glad to see you stop by with your question for us. Welcome to planDisney!

I hope you are getting excited for your upcoming visit. There are two easy parking options for Guests when they visit the parks: Toy Story Parking Area and Mickey & Friends/Pixar Pals Parking Structure. You do not have to purchase parking in advance is not required, but I know some like to just have it done ahead of time. You can find the purchase page for parking under the "Tickets & Parks" tab on the Disneyland website. You will then redeem this voucher at the booth at one of the parking areas on your visit.

Reminder, these parking vouchers are good for one standard-sized vehicle for one day. The parking areas open one hour before official park hours, so plan accordingly if you plan to rope drop. At Mickey & Friends/Pixar Pals Structures, you can go through security on the ground level and take a tram or use the 2nd level sky bridge on the Pixar Pals side to take the walking path to one of two Downtown Disney District security areas and walk through Downtown Disney. For Toy Story Parking, security is available on and off at the lot, and then you will be bused over to the Harbor Boulevard entrance. If security is not open at Toy Story, you will go through security once you arrive at the Esplanade area. Hopefully, this information helps you decide which option works best for your party.

Isaac, thanks so much for stopping by. We hope your visit is full of magic!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
