If you purchase parking can you leave and comeback and not be charged again at Magic kingdom

    Hi Michelle,

Welcome to planDisney, where we're always excited to help you get ready for your Walt Disney World vacation.

Once you pay to park at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks, you are good for the entire day. You can leave and return to the same park or move between Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot as you choose. Just hang onto your receipt to present at the parking lot entrances. (Guests staying at Walt Disney World resorts park free. Simply present your Key to the World card, My Disney Experience Mobile App or MagicBand at the entry).

Please remember that when you park at Magic Kingdom, you will need to take a ferry or a monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the park entrance, which adds a bit of time to your journey to and from the parking lot.

So, if you are going somewhere else on Walt Disney World property, Michelle, you might want to consider using the free Disney transportation instead of moving your car. Want to leave Magic Kingdom and grab lunch at the Polynesian Village Resort or Grand Floridian? Just hop on the resort monorail. Interested in a midday shopping break at Disney Springs? Grab a bus near the Magic Kingdom entrance. Plan a ride in a carriage or on horseback at Fort Wilderness? Sail across the Seven Seas Lagoon on a water taxi.

Whether you move your car or not, I recommend taking a picture of your row number or using the Car Locator function in the My Disney Experience Mobile App to be sure you can find your way back at the end of a fun-filled day.

Thanks for stopping by with your question, Michelle, and please let us know if we can help in any other way as your trip nears.

    Enjoy!
