Hey there, Pam! Welcome to planDisney - and Welcome Home to a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member! Fall is always a great time to visit
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm happy to point you in the right direction to secure
theme park tickets so that you don't miss a minute of fun during your trip.
You absolutely can purchase tickets through your DVC dashboard so they're linked to your reservation. To do this, start by logging onto the Member website. Navigate to the "My DVC" option, then select "My Dashboard". This will bring up a page that shows the status of your
Vacation Points, a menu of options that you might need for Member maintenance, and most importantly for you, a list of your current vacation plans.
When you click on your October reservation, you'll see a row of tiles with various options to add to your reservation. You can add a
dining plan, purchase travel insurance - and purchase park tickets! It's important to know that DVC Members currently do not receive any discount on standard theme park tickets. However, if you decide to purchase an Annual Pass, you'll be able to get the Sorcerer Pass, which is a discounted pass available only for DVC Members and Florida residents. If you visit more than once a year, it's definitely worth calculating if the Annual Pass is a better option. I became a Passholder for the first time this year - with a few trips on the horizon, it saved money to purchase the pass.
Pam, before you head off on your Disney adventure, be sure to spend some time checking out the
Member Benefits section of the website. There are all sorts of great perks available to Members, including discounts at select restaurants and shops, golf courses, and more! We often end up trying a new restaurant to enjoy the DVC discount, and it's a fun way to expand your Disney horizons.
Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, Pam! As your vacation approaches, please come back and see us again anytime if we can help with other questions to make your trip a practically perfect one.
Stay Magical,
Susan
