If I purchase my park tickets from other than through Disney, does that effect the rate I will pay for the Resort Room I choose. Can I price an offer wth only the room and dining plan?

    Hi Ruby!

Well, yes and no...  You can still get a fabulous "room only" rate by booking directly through Walt Disney World or through your Travel Agent.  In fact, many times, the "room only" rate can be a better deal - particularly if you are staying in a Moderate or Deluxe Resort.  It definitely pays off to break out the old calculator and determine which deal is best for YOUR family!

However, the Disney Dining Plan is only available to those guests who purchase a package through the Walt Disney World Travel Company.  The Dining Plan is truly a great value and we absolutely love it!  It is possible to "build" a package, using a "room only" rate on your resort, and then add in tickets in the Dining Plan. However, all three components must be included.  In other words, if you do not purchase your tickets and room through Disney, you may not purchase the Dining Plan.  Make sense?

Honestly, valid tickets are VERY rarely discounted and if they are, it is usually just by a few dollars.  I would bet my bottom dollar that you will save the most money by booking all three components together.  I hope that you have a wonderful vacation and I would love to hear from you again!
