If I purchase park tickets and then decide to add days on once we are there, is it the additional day price or would it be like buying a single day?

    Hi Lisa!

There is so much magic at Walt Disney World Resort that there is always more to see and experience. In fact, I always want to stay a few extra days every time our trip to the "Most Magical Place on Earth" is over!

You can upgrade your theme park tickets to add an additional day by visiting Guest Services at any of the theme parks. When you upgrade, you will pay the difference between the value of your existing ticket and the value of the new ticket you're interested in. So for example, if you purchased a 4-day theme park ticket and you would like to upgrade to a 5-day ticket, then you would need to pay the difference in price between your 4-day ticket and the 5-day ticket, which is less than the price of a single-day ticket.

Keep in mind that to complete your upgrade, your ticket cannot be expired and you must have remaining admissions on your ticket. Also, when visiting the theme parks, Guests need to have both a valid theme park ticket and a theme park reservation. So I recommend that you plan on upgrading your ticket early in your vacation so you can ensure your ticket is still eligible for an upgrade and so you have the best availability for theme park reservations!

Be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as you continue planning for announcements about new and returning magic you can experience during your trip. Also, feel free to come back to see us if you have additional questions as your trip approaches! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
