Hey There, Hi There, Ho There, Jeni!
You are as welcome as can be here at planDisney. How exciting that you are planning ahead for your Disney vacation. It looks like you will be here at the merriest time on earth. It's one of my favorite times to visit Disney because the parks are dressed up for the holidays and oh what fun it is when the magic of Disney and the jolly holidays come together.
To purchase your theme park tickets, you can do so right from the
Walt Disney World website. When you go to purchase your tickets, you can select the number of days for which you would like the tickets. Then, you can select the ticket type, such as a single-day ticket, Park Hopper, etc. And then the dates for which you are purchasing the tickets.
Now, Jeni, if you purchase a date-based ticket, you do not need a
theme park reservation. Only undated tickets, including Annual Passes, need theme park reservations. For date-based tickets, you select a start date and then you have a window in which you can use the tickets. But, for a multi-day ticket, you do not have to use the tickets on consecutive days. For example, if I purchase a three-day ticket starting on March 26th, I have until March 30th to use these three ticket days at any time within this window.
I hope this helps you, Jeni! If you have any further Disney vacation planning questions, stop back here to see us and we will be so happy to help you.
Magically Yours,
Keri
