I would like to purchase a Park Hopper ticket and visit Animal Kingdom in the morning then Magic Kingdom and dine at Cinderella's Royal Table. However, it seems to require a park reservation for the same day at Magic Kingdom. I would only have AK reser

Hey there, Lily, and welcome to planDisney! I loved seeing your question because Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park sounds like the perfect way to start any day, and I'm not just talking about Disney days! Admittedly, I may be slightly biased. But it is the best of the four Theme Parks!

Lily, Disney Park Pass Reservations are only required for the first Theme Park you plan to visit each day. So, Hakuna Matata - it means no worries - because you will not need a park reservation at Magic Kingdom Park! The only reservations that you’ll need in Magic Kingdom are your dining reservation to Cinderella’s Royal Table and any Genie+ reservations you decide to make. Cinderella’s Royal Table is quite popular, and reservations book up quickly, so I suggest that you search for its availability first when your reservation window opens. Keep in mind that Park Hopper privileges do not start until 2 p.m., so make sure your dining reservation is later than 2 p.m. Which is great because it puts you closer to seeing the new Disney Enchantment Nighttime Spectacular in Magic Kingdom Park! You get a full morning in Animal Kingdom Park and a full afternoon in Magic Kingdom Park — your vacation sounds amazing already!

I hope this helps, Lily! If you have more questions while you plan your Disney Vacation, come back and ask me! We at planDisney are here to help!
