Do you have to purchase the park hopper in advance or can you choose to add it on a day to day basis? If so, can you add it to a ticket outside the park gate? I would like to have it a couple days, but I don't think we would need it all days of the trip.

Hi Jennifer!

This is a great question. You do not have to buy the Park Hopper option in advance when you buy your Magic Your Way ticket. You can wait until you are actually at Walt Disney World and already using your ticket. However, you can't buy it for just one or two days. The Park Hopper option is the same cost regardless of whether you buy it on your first day of your visit or your last day! Thus if you think you will need it, it makes more sense to purchase it up front so that you will have it for all of your days. But if you don't think you need it, you can wait until you actually need it (just remember that it will cost the same, even if purchased on the last day). You can upgrade your ticket at Guest Services outside any of the theme parks.
