Hey Howdy Hey Jennifer and welcome to planDisney!
The initial steps in planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort are so much fun. Looking into the various
Disney Resorts Collection hotel options and thinking about your theme park days, it's just super exciting knowing you're going to Disney World! Thank you for stopping by with your question on theme park days with your vacation package. I will be happy to give you a little more information.
Jennifer you have it right, when you are booking a
vacation package to Walt Disney World, you have your options to select any of the various resorts as well as theme park tickets. I am happy to share that once you select your resort, you then will have the option to select the number of days you want in the theme parks. You are usually able to select as many days as you want which may extend past your nights booked at the resort. So if you are staying off property for a few nights, you should still be able to book your tickets in full to get the cheaper rate for multi-day tickets. The only reason you may not be able to book your tickets like that is if you were taking advantage of a special offer. As for now, you should be able to make your reservation like you are planning to.
The fall in Walt Disney World is an amazing time to visit. The cooler weather, the fall decor and all the celebrations for the fall season are just a few of the things to be super excited about. Usually during the fall, you will have the opportunity to book one of the beloved celebrations of the Halloween season with
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. This is a separate ticketed event but one you might want to make a must-do for your trip. The other celebration to keep an eye on is the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival which usually happens in the fall. This festival is a celebration of the fall season with food and drink offerings uniquely made with seasonal flavors. Since we are still fairly far from the fall, make sure you keep up with
Disney Parks Blog for all the latest news for the parks and resorts.
I hope you enjoy the planning portion of your vacation as it can be so much fun to do! Please feel free to reach back out if you have any further questions, we are always happy to help!
Happy Planning,
Nick
