Hiya Chris - welcome to
planDisney!
Are you sure you're not a planDisney panelist yourself, Chris? I ask because it sounds like you're already coming up with expert-level solutions to some of tricky Mickey's planning speed bumps!
From a simplicity perspective, yes, it's certainly easy to have one transaction where you purchase all of the
Theme Park Tickets for your crew. One transaction, one confirmation, one email ... you get the picture!
Disney Gift Cards are a great way to make purchases associated with a Walt Disney World Resort vacation, including Theme Park Tickets. However, there are two important limitations, both of which I think you're aware of. First, you are limited to only using
one Disney Gift Card per transaction when making Walt Disney World Resort purchases online. Second, a single Disney Gift Card can hold a maximum balance of $1,000. You can easily combine multiple cards into one by creating an account at DisneyGiftCard.com and visiting the My Cards link. Add your cards, then follow a few on-screen instructions to transfer funds. Note that you are required to transfer the full balance of a card.
So, depending on the number of tickets you need and pricing, you may need to combine some gift card balances and complete one or more transactions. The good news is that this doesn't make much of a difference regarding the tickets themselves. They're no different than if you bought them together, and they can be linked to your My Disney Experience account just the same. If you run into any trouble, you can also
call and speak to a Cast Member to purchase tickets.I hope this information is helpful, Chris! I hope you're able to include a visit to
EPCOT during your upcoming trip - the new
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind rollercoaster is a blast!
