I want to purchase a one day ticket and was wondering if I can do fast passes on my one day ticket?

It's supercalifragilisticexpialidocious to see you here, Melissa!

I'm thrilled to hear you're heading to the magic. Sometimes we all need a dose of pixie dust, and your one-day trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth sounds like it will be practically perfect in every way!

Melissa, the FastPass service you're asking about has now been upgraded to the Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane services. These are add-on purchases you'd have to make, which I'll explain in a bit. So to answer your question, you are welcome to purchase your one-day theme park ticket. Then, you can purchase Disney Genie+ anytime after midnight on the day of your visit. You'll be able to make your first Disney Genie+ attraction selection at 7 AM, so what I like to do is purchase the Disney Genie+ service at 6:45 AM, then get ready to make my first Disney Genie+ selection at 7 AM. This selection you make will help you skip the standby queue and allow you to enter through the Lightning Lane queue, formerly known as the FastPass lane.

Now you may be wondering what all of this means, and I'm happy to explain Disney Genie+ service and Individual Lightning Lane to you!

The Disney Genie+ service lasts throughout the day during operating hours, so you can use this all day during your visit once you've purchased it. It works for many of the rides, but not all of them. Starting at 7 AM on the day of your visit, you can make your first selection for the attraction you'd like to use the Lightning Lane queue for. Once you tap in, or after two hours, whichever comes first, you will be eligible to make your following selection for a different attraction. Scrolling down this page, you'll find a list of experiences offered through the Disney Genie+ service at each park.

The Individual Purchases of Lightning Lane Entry is another service allowing Guests to enter through the Lightning Lane queue. These are specific attractions that are the most sought-after and not offered through Disney Genie+. Pricing for this varies by attraction, and you can find which experiences are offered if you scroll down, select the park, and look under "Lightning Lane Entrances for Individual Purchase."

Guests are able to purchase both Disney Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane during their park day.

To book your Disney Genie+ selections, you will want to follow these steps:

-Open up your My Disney Experience Mobile App
-Tap on the three horizontal lines on the bottom right of the screen, then select Tip Board
-If you still need to purchase Disney Genie+, you can choose to purchase the service here.
-Once you have done so, head back to Tip Board. You can change the theme park towards the top of the screen and then scroll to locate the attraction you want to reserve for your party.
-Once you choose Book Experience under the Disney Genie+ option, it will have you confirm your entire party or select members of your party.
-After following the prompts and finalizing your selection, you're all set!

Wishing you an enchanting visit, Melissa!
