If I purchase a one day park ticket can I upgrade the ticket to a 3 day Florida ticket?

    Hi Mark,

It's always great to hear from another Florida resident, and I'm happy to help you with your question about tickets.

As someone who lives in the Sunshine State, you have an array of Florida Resident special offers available to you and your family. There currently aren't any Florida Resident specials for one-day tickets, but if you buy a one-day ticket at the regular price, you can visit Guest Relations and upgrade it to a ticket for three days or more or to an annual pass.

When you upgrade, the amount you paid for the one-day ticket can be applied to the cost of the new tickets or passes. Just be sure you visit Guest Relations before you leave the park on the day you use your one-day ticket.

Florida residents usually get a price break on three- and four-day tickets, but right now, there's an even better deal. The Discover Disney limited-time offer gives you up to a 40 percent savings on tickets that can be used any three or four days before the promotion ends in early summer. You don't have to go on consecutive days, and there are no block out dates.

If that's not enough Disney fun for you and your family, you can consider a Florida Resident annual pass. Again, there are variations of the annual pass to meet a variety of needs. And, as a Floridian, you can choose to pay for annual passes monthly over a full year, interest free. And as a passholder, you are entitled to discounts on resorts, merchandise, dining, admission to special events and tours and more.

Thanks for your question, Mark. Please let us know if we can help with any other details about visiting Walt Disney World. Enjoy!
