Hi Stephanie,
Welcome to planDisney!
Let the celebration begin! I can picture the excitement in your household as you plan a visit to the Walt Disney World® Resort. Currently, when you book a vacation package 31 days or more in advance of the arrival date, you have to put down a $200 deposit. Check out the
2024 Website Package Terms and Conditions. Your vacation package can include standard theme park tickets or tickets with a
Park Hopper® Option and you just need to pay the deposit to reserve it.
It sounds like you also want to purchase
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Tickets. Those are
Special Event Tickets that must be purchased separately. My suggestion would be to book your vacation package as soon as those dates are available to book and then book the Halloween party tickets when those are released. Also note that terms and conditions could change, so double-check the booking requirements (including deposit amount) prior to making your reservation!
I actually love to start planning our vacations a year in advance so that we can start saving money. I also keep checking the
Special Offers to see if any great deals are released for the dates of our visit. If a special offer is released after you have booked your vacation package, try to modify it to take advantage of the special offer. Just know that availability for special offers can be limited so you may not be able to modify that reservation.
Stephanie, I trust that you will get a vacation package booked and those Halloween party tickets purchased. Remember to plan for
advanced dining reservations and make note of your
booking window for those experiences. Definitely make reservations for character meals. A few of our favorites are
Cinderella's Royal Table,
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera (breakfast), and
Tusker House Restaurant. In the meantime, I am sending a wish to the Evening Star in the spirit of Tiana trusting that the memories made on your trip will be priceless!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
