Hey, howdy, hey, Brian! Thanks for swinging by planDisney with your questions. Visiting the
Happiest Place on Earth is just about my favorite thing to do. I’m sorry to hear you may need to change your plans, however, I can help you with some information so you can experience the magic real soon, as your schedule permits!
The good news is theme park reservations can be cancelled and rebooked for new dates that are available. Guests are continuously changing plans, and hence the availability can change in a matter of minutes or hours. I recommend checking the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar frequently for this very reason.
Tickets typically have a long life, so you have flexibility to rebook your visit. For instance, most
multi-day tickets purchased in 2022 will not expire until January 12, 2024. There are some exceptions, so it’s a good idea to check with Ticket Services, either by contacting them
via phone or through the “Chat with Us” feature in the
Disneyland mobile app.
Also, the value of a wholly unused expired ticket can be applied towards a new ticket purchase in most cases. Again, good to confirm this with Ticket Services depending on the type of ticket you have.
Brian, I certainly hope you’ll get to the Disneyland Resort soon. There is so much to look forward to! One of my favorite events is starting on March 4 – the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. This includes sampling various small bites and sips, culinary demonstrations, seminars and more. I can’t wait to visit in just a few weeks!
The magic awaits, Brian! Wishing you the best of luck rescheduling your trip.
