Hi Alyssa Marie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! First off, please thank your service member for their dedication to our Country! Mine is a military family too, and we are so grateful for the wonderful thanks that Walt Disney World Resort shows U.S. Service Members by way of their
U.S. Military Multi-Day Promotional Theme Park Tickets.
Of all the times I've used these tickets (six visits within the last seven years), we've never been asked to show a Military ID when entering a Disney Theme Park after our tickets were initially validated at a
Guest Relations Location. My parents joined my family in March and one day they had an early morning tour that neither my husband (the Mil ID holder) nor myself (the dependent ID holder) attended; they had zero problems entering the park without us. I had two days leftover from that same March ticket that I used a few weeks ago and I was not asked to show my Mil ID then, either.
I will say that Disney is famous for making changes, so one backup plan would be to take a picture of the back of all the tickets + the front of the Military ID. This way should something change between now and when you come back, Guest Services will be able to pull up the original-use information.
Pro Tip: These tickets are available in 4 and 5-day versions, AND that you can also add the Park Hopper Plus option for only $40 more per person. The 'Plus' option grants you either 4 or 5 visits to be used at Disney's two water parks, ESPN's Wide World of Sports, or for golf. (Both mini and regular.) You can redeem these visits however you'd like (example: 4 full water park days!), and just like the Theme Park visits, these pluses are also valid until Dec 17 of this year.
I hope this helped, Alyssa Marie!
