If we purchase military tickets on base can they be linked to Magicbands that we already have from a previous visit? I saw it posted somewhere that you have to stop at a ticket counter to activate the military tickets before you can use them? Thank you!!

Hi Michelle, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm so grateful for the wonderful military special offers Mickey and his pals offer to our service members, and it's always a pleasure to help fellow military families make magical memories.

Once you purchase Military Promotional Tickets on base, you'll need to log in to your My Disney Experience account to link the exchange certificates. Under "My Reservations and Tickets," select "Link Tickets" and then enter the number on the exchange certificate. You can then assign the tickets to each Guest – I always write each person's name on the ticket I've assigned to them, just to make it easier when we activate them in the theme parks. It's important to link those tickets in time to make your FastPass+ selections 30 days from your visit if you'll be staying off-property, or 60 days from your check-in date if you'll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel.

While you're in your My Disney Experience account, you can also look in your "MagicBands & Cards" section to make sure the MagicBands from your past visit are still linked and active. Once the tickets are linked to each Guest, they should be automatically linked to any MagicBands assigned to that Guest. (If you'll be staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, complimentary MagicBands are included, so you'll just need to customize those and you'll be all set.)

Michelle, when you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth, you'll need to visit Guest Relations in the theme parks or Disney Springs to activate your tickets. Present your military ID and the Cast Member helping you will activate your tickets and make sure your MagicBands are all set up. Once that's taken care of, it's Mickey time!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
