Hello Stephanie! I hope you're having a magical day, and welcome. We're so glad you stopped by. On behalf of all my friends here at planDisney, thank you for your service. As a military spouse myself, it's truly my honor to help you today.
I love that Walt Disney World Resort offers incredible specials for U.S. military personnel and their families. My top favorites are the
Disney Resort hotel savings and the
Disney Military Salute Tickets. I'm thrilled that the Disney Celebrates America Military Salute Ticket is now available. It's a fantastic option that allows you to enjoy the magic again and again. For Disney Military Salute Tickets, the service member or their spouse is eligible to purchase up to 6 tickets. An important thing to remember is that the military member or their spouse must use one ticket. You can definitely buy a five-day Military Salute Ticket for your parents; this would bring your total ticket purchases to three, leaving you with three remaining tickets.
It's wonderful that you'll be visiting The Most Magical Place on Earth with your parents! I often go with my parents, and one of our favorite activities is visiting
EPCOT during its amazing festivals. My mother and I recently attended the
International Festival of the Arts, and it was spectacular to see the talented artists. I was even able to get a piece I loved autographed by the artist himself. I highly recommend checking the
official Disney website to see if you can visit during a festival.
Keep in mind that unless you purchase your Salute Tickets directly at Shades of Green, you'll need to activate them with a valid military ID at a theme park ticket counter located at the front of the theme parks or at the
Disney Ticket Center at
Disney Springs. The process is quick and easy. I also highly recommend checking out the
Memory Maker, which is offered at a special price for military families. I like to add it when I activate my tickets, since it must be done at the same locations. This ticket will still require a
theme park reservation to enter the theme parks.
While you're there, don't forget to enjoy Shades of Green, the military resort at Walt Disney World. My family and I love visiting the Exchange, and they have some amazing ice cream!
Stephanie, I hope this information has been helpful. It’s truly been my privilege to assist you. If you have any more questions, please come back and see me. Remember, you've got a friend in me!
Your personal planning companion,
Michelle
