    can we purchase the military discount tickets at the Magic Kingdom ticket booth or do we have to go to Shades of Green to get the tickets?

    Hi Raymond,

    If you mean the current Military Discount promotion, you can purchase them at the gate or at the Shades of Green.  You should be able to purchase the discounted tickets at the nearest military base to your home.  All of the military bases I've been to in Maryland have been heavily advertising the special tickets. 

    Under the current promotion, eligible members or spouses (but not both) can purchase up to 6 special military tickets.  These tickets can not be used in any parks from 12/27/10 - 12/31/10 or 4/17/11 - 4/23/11 and not in the Magic Kingdom on 7/4/11.  These special tickets must be purchased by 9/28/11 and used by 10/1/11.

    However, you can also generally purchase discounted "normal" tickets at a military base as well, and at the Shades of Green Resort at Walt Disney World.  At the Shades of Green, ask for the Magic Your Way Stars and Stripes tickets.
