    Can you purchase military 1 day discounted tickets at the gate?

    Welcome to planDisney. We are so glad you stopped by! It looks like you are hoping to visit the parks as we speak, so let's make like Lightning McQueen and speed our way through your question to find an answer.

    In appreciation of their service, eligible active and retired U.S. military personnel have access to discounted Disneyland Resort theme park tickets. These special tickets can only be purchased at participating U.S. military base ticket offices with valid military identification, and not at the Main Entrance Gate. I'm sorry, I know that was not the news you were hoping to hear! I'm hopeful that you have a bit of time to get these tickets ahead of your visit.

    Before heading to the parks, I always check the Offers and Discounts page on the Disneyland website for any current promotions. If you happen to be an Anaheim resident, there is a special ticket offer with proof of residency from now through September 25, 2025! Note that Guests will be required to provide a valid, government-issued photo ID with an eligible zip code for purchase and admission. For this special offer, tickets purchased will be available for use the following day and not immediately.
