    if you purchase a Mickey Christmas, do you still need to pay admission? I am thinking of just doing the Christmas thing next year.

    As we all start to pack up our Christmas decorations, there is only one thing to do: Start thinking about NEXT Christmas! You know what they say...It's the most wonderful time of the year!

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party requires a special event ticket. Dates are usually announced along with tickets going on sale sometime in July. Each guest age 3 and older will need a Party ticket to enter. This is all you need, as a the regular theme park tickets will not grant admission. If you are already in the Magic Kingdom on the day of a Party, you will still need to purchase a Party ticket to stay for the fun. Historically, Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is held on select nights starting in early November, with party hours from 7pm-midnight. 

    Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite events of the year. Enjoy complimentary holiday treats, fireworks, snow on Main Street USA, and special character meet and greets. This party is so great, even Santa Claus stops by for the fun!
